Competition Terms & Conditions
These terms govern performance submissions, public voting and prizes.
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. Promoter and acceptance
The promoter is ITISMYTALENT LTD, company number 16967883, registered at 98 Fleetwood Road, Dollis Hill, London, United Kingdom, NW10 1NN (“IIMT”, “we”, “us”).
By submitting an entry, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If a participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must give permission and accept these terms for them.
2. Monthly competition timetable
Unless the app announces a different timetable, submissions made during a calendar month are considered for the following competition month. For example, submissions made from 1 to 30 September are considered for the October competition.
The entry deadline shown in the app and official submission form is the controlling deadline. Approved performances are published on the official IIMT YouTube channel and app. Voting closes at the date and time announced for that competition month, using Nepal Time.
We may change, pause or cancel a timetable where reasonably necessary for safety, fairness, technical problems or events outside our control. Material changes will be announced through an official IIMT channel.
3. Who may enter
- Entry is free unless an official page clearly states otherwise.
- Solo performers and groups may enter. The person submitting must have permission from every performer shown.
- A parent or legal guardian must provide accurate contact details and consent for every under-18 participant.
- One submission per person or group is allowed in each monthly entry cycle unless we expressly invite another entry.
- A winner may not compete again during the same season.
4. Video and content requirements
- The performance must be newly recorded specifically for IIMT and must not have been published online before submission.
- The video must begin with the performer stating their name or stage name, location, performance type or title, and that the performance is for It Is My Talent.
- Submit one clear video, no larger than 500 MB, in a format accepted by the official form.
- The performance must be genuine. AI-generated or deceptively altered faces, voices, lip-sync, instruments or performances are not permitted.
- You must own or have permission to use the performance, music, choreography, script, images and all other protected material.
- Do not include private information such as a home address, school name, telephone number or identity document in the video.
Content containing hate, threats, sexual material, unlawful violence, dangerous acts, illegal activity, harassment, exploitation, or political or religious campaigning may be rejected. Submission does not guarantee approval or publication.
5. Review, publication and permission
We may approve, request changes, place an entry on hold or reject it to protect safety, rights, quality and fair competition. We may verify age, identity, permissions and originality.
For an approved entry, the participant grants IIMT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to review, edit for presentation, publish, display, promote and share the submitted video, name or stage name, image, voice, likeness and performance details through IIMT’s website, app, YouTube channel and social-media accounts for competition and promotional purposes. The participant keeps ownership of their original work.
6. Voting, scoring and the main prize
Official scores are calculated from eligible engagement on the official IIMT YouTube upload: one eligible view equals one point and one eligible like equals two points. YouTube’s public metrics and validation systems apply. Metrics are captured at the announced closing time, and IIMT may retain a timestamped score snapshot.
Buying views or likes, using bots, click farms, paid advertising intended to inflate a contestant’s score, exchanges or any other artificial engagement is prohibited. We may investigate, exclude suspicious engagement, disqualify an entry or withhold a prize.
The eligible contestant with the highest verified score wins the main prize announced for that competition. Ties, corrections, platform delays and disputes will be decided using documented platform data and a fair review by IIMT.
7. Fairness, disqualification and decisions
We may reject or disqualify an entry that is false, incomplete, duplicated, unlawful, unsafe, infringing, manipulated or inconsistent with these terms. We may request evidence before awarding any prize. Our decisions will be made reasonably and are final after any applicable review.
8. Prizes and winner contact
Prizes are non-transferable unless we agree otherwise. Winners will be contacted using the details supplied. Never pay anyone who claims a fee is required to receive an IIMT prize. We may publicly announce a winner’s name or stage name, location, performance and winning result.
9. Liability and platform availability
We are not responsible for failures caused by a participant’s device, internet connection, third-party platform, inaccurate contact details or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Apple Inc., Google LLC, YouTube and Meta are not sponsors of, administrators of, or otherwise involved in IIMT competitions or prizes. Their respective platform terms continue to apply when you use their services.
10. Privacy, complaints and governing law
We process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Questions, complaints, safeguarding concerns or copyright claims should be sent to itismytalent@gmail.com.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer rights or local laws that apply to an entrant or prize promotion in another country.
